I know I am behind on getting these up, but at least I am taking the pictures! I am officially in week 28 right now. Had my doctor's appointment today and everything went well. Charlee had a strong, healthy heart rate at 141 bpm and my belly is measuring right on track for 28 weeks. We have checked the 4 week appointments off of our list and are now down to going every 2 weeks. We are amazed at how fast the time has flown by. I am beginning to get a little anxious - we can't wait to see our baby girl!

...registry...
Finally with the help from family and friends, Charlee is registered at Buy Buy Baby! This was by far an overwhelming experience for Cory and I. We registered for most of the big things together, then I went back with the girls to complete the registry. Keeping our fingers crossed that we didn't leave off anything major - now we get to look forward to Charlee's baby showers! If interested, you can find the registry on Buy Buy Baby's website under Caroline or Cory Cato.

...twenty-five weeks...
Crib bedding is finally in with all nursery fabric! I am so excited and look forward to finally getting Charlee's nursery all put together! I have taken plenty of before pictures and can't wait to take after pictures. Will post both as soon as nursery is complete. I am proud to say that Cory and my Mom have painted the nursery ceiling and walls!
...at this point...
how far: 25 weeks
maternity clothes: yes- I have a lot from my girlfriend Erica, but still had to buy some work pants. I am, without a doubt, in maternity clothes.
sleep: sleep is still very difficult . still tossing and turning a lot throughout the night. unfortunately, night is when my heartburn begins.
best moment this week: feeling all of Charlee's movements - turning, kicking, and punching!
cravings: still stuck on the sour kick- lemonade, grapefurit, sour skittles.. to name a few.
belly button: in
movement: moving more and more each day - loving it all!
I apologize about the picture. It is kind of hard to tell the progression with this white shirt on, but I promise she is growing!

...twenty-three/twenty-four weeks...
So I am really not good at this blogging thing and it obviously shows. The weeks are flying by. We had a fabulous Christmas with friends and family. Charlee's wardrobe is well on its way - so many cute clothes! Below are weeks 23 and 24 pictures. Also is a picture of one of my very best friends, Jess and I - she is always expecting which makes this experience even more enjoyable ! Baby Keaton and Charlee are about 5 weeks apart.
Mom and Charlee are doing great! 24 week check up went well. Charlee's heartbeat was 151. I feel like I had another big growth spurt between weeks 23 and 24. I'll let you be the judge!

...justa kicking...
We sure have had a busy last couple of weeks. On the fun side of things, we had our 20th week check-up where everything was wonderful! We finally got a new car for me - it's a Ford Edge and I am loving it! Also, my Mom's whole side of the family just returned from a cruise to the Bahamas - it was absolutely amazing!
For Mommy and Daddy to be, one of the most exciting moments was that Cory was finally able to feel Charlee kick! It was Wednesday morning on the cruise (21 weeks) and Charlee was moving like crazy. I had tried to get Cory to feel before but he just couldn't. I could tell that the kicks and jabs were a little stronger so he tried again. This time he felt her - not just once but three times! At that time Gracie (my niece) was knocking on our door so she ran in and felt Charlee also! This morning (Saturday) she was moving around 7:30, Cory was able to feel her kick many times and was amazed at how much stronger her kicking has gotten in just a few days. We have found that her most active times are between 7:00-8:00am and 8:00-9:00pm. We are completely thrilled and are looking forward to sharing many more wonderful moments with you.

...charlee grace...
Cory and I are excited to annouce that we will be having a baby girl - Charlee Grace. Our eighteenth week check up was this past Monday. Not only were we able to find out if we were having a boy or girl, but we were also able to see our precious baby through ultrasound and examine every inch of her body. This was such an amazing experience for the both of us. My belly was measuring right on track as I was eighteen weeks two days; however, Charlee's belly and head were measuring nineteen weeks five days. We were told to possibly be prepare for Charlee's arrival around the middle of April.
We enjoyed sharing this exciting news with our family on Monday night with a gender reveal balloon pop. Graice was the lucky one with the piece of paper in her balloon stating we were having a girl. She got to read and annouce this to the rest of the family. My girlfriend Erica was involved in taking the wonderful picture of our reveal. Cory and I were excited to share pictures with friends the following day. Below are a couple of the many she took. The bicycle in the picture was Grandma Cile's. We know she is smiling down from Heaven as she thinks of her son with a "sweet little beautiful, perfect, all american girl"!
